Yaowang Platform (King Yao Platform)

　　With green mountains and beautiful scenery, Yaowang Platform Scenic Area is located on Zhongtiao Mountain in the south of Jieyukou Village, Chengxi Street, Yongji City. It used to be the place where the three ancient kings Yao, Shun and Yu handed over the throne; also it was the main battlefield for defending Zhongtiao Mountain during the War of Resistance against Japan. Now, it is a demonstration site for Yongji City’s “Integration of Agriculture, Culture and Tourism”. Yaowang Platform Scenic Area is planned as “five areas and one belt”-King Yao Culture Expo Area, Leisure Agriculture Area, “Dynamic Puban” of Ancient Puzhou Culture Area, Revolutionary Culture Education Area and Homestay Area, and a Mesa Natural Viewing Belt.

　　At present, there are more than ten scenic spots in the scenic area, such as Yaotaisan Temple, Ancient Puban Street, Half-hill Farming Garden and Kyushu Platform, which can be visited by tourists; there are dining palace, starry sky and ancient street snacks; there are cave homestays, September inns, persimmon farms and Wowo chicken houses to meet people’s natural, ecological, green and healthy needs for eating, living, transportation, traveling, shopping and entertainment.
